I'm a little baffled given manufacturing technology, why when I want 7x9, FLOR or its manufacturing partners can't provide what you need to get what you want. I'm sure my math skills or intelligence will be insulted but why is that burden put on me? My carpet/rug is 6-7 inches short one direction and 10 inches or so short the other direction. I'm on the fence about returning the product. Product looks good but feels like forcing the fit.

I owned some Ruggables rugs and was very frustrated when trying to vacuum them. The vacuum pulled the rug off of the pad. I have a large dog who sheds a lot and I need to vacuum every day. Do these tiles stay put?

Verified Reply - FLORFLOR is engineered with structural integrity to "hug" the floor. Plus, the easy-to-use, non-toxic FLORdots that come with every order are designed to stick to the underside of each tile and not to the floor beneath. Using FLORdots secures the tiles to one another so there's no curling, gapping, or slippage. Your design will stay put until you decide to change or replace it.

Verified Reply - FLORFLOR is not intended or recommended for installation on stairs.  The type of installation presents a slip and fall issue; therefore, FLOR does not offer any warranty for this type of installation.

How can I protect my existing wall-to-wall beige carpet from being marked by the Black Tuxedo Pocket tiles that I want to use as an area rug on top of the carpet?

Verified Reply - FLORFLOR can be installed in virtually any indoor area that has a clean, hard, dry surface. FLOR should NOT be installed over carpeting or padding*, floors with hand painted or vintage varnish finish, unfinished waxed floors or outdoors. FLOR may be installed over smooth, fully-cured (minimum of 90 days) concrete floors. If your room has an unfinished, waxed, vintage varnish, or solvent sealed floor we do not recommend installing FLOR, as FLOR may cause some discoloration or staining of the floor. If you're unsure if FLOR will work for your surface, call Customer Care at 866.952.4093. * FLOR has a firm, but flexible backing. Installation of FLOR over a soft subfloor or existing carpeting or rugs will cause the tiles to separate when weight is applied to the surface.

We have new herringbone brick tile in a four season room. The surface is as level as it can be with authentic brick tile. Will your product work in these conditions?

Verified Reply - FLORThe unevenness of the surface can't exceed 1/8". We do recommend it go on a solid smooth surface so the tiles don't separate at the seams when walked on.

Verified Reply - FLORWe'll do the calculating for you. First, measure the space you want to cover. Then, visit our FLOR tile calculator. Enter your dimensions and our calculator tells you how many tiles to order. Or, call Customer Care at 866.952.4093 for assistance. FLOR carpet tiles can be ordered in any quantity you need. For a 10' x 12' area, you would need 42 tiles.
